The recipient must be an outstanding violin, viola, cello, or string bass student who is enrolled with that instrument in the Southeast Missouri Symphony Orchestra each semester.

Mrs. Garrison is currently Principal and Owner of BrandVirture, LLC, a full-service strategic and dedicated marketing and communication firm. Dr. Craig Morgan is blessed to be able to honor his father Dr. Willard Morgan through this scholarship. He hopes that his support through this scholarship will encourage graduate students at Southeast Missouri State who share the passions and interests that both he and his father have pursued throughout their lives.

He is a 1957 Southeast Missouri State University graduate who majored in earth science and marketing.

Harris, Sr. is a lifelong resident of Sikeston, Missouri, and a 1979 graduate of Sikeston Senior High School.
