He hopes that his support through this scholarship will encourage graduate students at Southeast Missouri State who share the passions and interests that both he and his father have pursued throughout their lives.

Harris, Sr. is a lifelong resident of Sikeston, Missouri, and a 1979 graduate of Sikeston Senior High School.
